As the Student Facilitator, Asanda is responsible for designing and supervising student workshops and training, monitoring, and overseeing field reports and research projects. Asanda is currently completing her (Masters) Bachelor of Agricultural Economics at the University of Fort Hare in Alice. Her accomplishments include facilitating the development of small-scale farmers through Farmer Field School Approach which Introduces new cropping methods to cope with climate change and scarcity of water.
Asanda Apleni is KSFI’s Learning Coordinator. She plans, designs, implements and supervises educational programmes, including coordination and monitoring of student workshops and training courses. She also oversees field reports and research projects. She has completed a Masters degree Fort Hare and a M.Sc. In Agricultural Economics. Currently she is completing a PhD at the University of Fort Hare.
